What is Mountain Man Rendevous?

Mountain Man Rendevous is a weekend campout celebrating the days of the free ranging Fur Trappers of the "West" (back when "West" meant Kentucky.  

At Mountain Man, Scouts will learn survival skills like...

• firemaking with flint and tinder
• tomahawk throwing
• knife throwing
• archery
• black powder rifle
• and more.....

Where? 

This year, Troop 604 will be going to the Mountain Man at the Boulder Creek Scout Reservation 

When?

October 17th and 19th!

What Should I Bring to Mountain Man?

Ideally, Scouts dress in home made period clothing and sleep in canvas tents.
